Carrier Ventures

What these cost

Forty-four small tools, each built to do exactly one thing for exactly one kind of person. This page says what each one costs, what you get without paying anything, and which ones are not out yet.

None of them is on a store today. Every price below is the price it will carry, and every card says where that app actually is. Nothing here takes your money yet, and there is no button that pretends otherwise. If you want to know when one ships, the card has a link that sends an email and does nothing else.

Free tier

Not a countdown

Every app has a free tier that keeps working. It is capped by how much you use it, not by how long you have had it, so an app you open twice a year is still useful the second time.

Free trial

14 days, then you decide

Every subscription opens with fourteen days of everything. Cancel before it ends and you are not charged. The trial is set up through the App Store, so cancelling is one screen in your own Apple account and not a conversation with us.

One payment

Where one payment is right

Some of these do a job that finishes. Configuring parental controls, cancelling a subscription, checking a boat. Those are sold once. Billing monthly for a job that took an afternoon would be a worse product.

  • No advertising, ever. Not on the free tier, not anywhere.
  • No analytics and no engagement loop. No streaks, no gamification, no notifications designed to pull you back. A tool you use less often because it worked is a tool that worked.
  • The free tier is not a demo. Where an app answers a question, answering it is free and stays free. What you pay for is keeping, comparing and carrying that answer forward.
  • Nothing is sold before the part you would rely on is finished. Several of these are running software held back over one missing piece, and each card names the piece.

1 tool

Open right now

No download, no account, no email address. It runs the real engine in a browser.

31

Plan Finder

Open in a browser

Guided Medicare Advantage comparison that compares on the whole picture, including whether a plan covers the drugs somebody already takes. No enrollment, no commission, no TPMO status.

Licensed to agencies Free to the person using it. The organisation pays.

Free tierThe sample comparison is open to anyone, with no account and no email address.

Sample data is invented on purpose. Carriers, plans and coverage are fictional, so a demo can never misdescribe a real product.

6 tools

Coming soon: waiting on a store

Finished software, held up by a submission rather than by a feature. Each of these is close, and what it is waiting on is named on its own page.

43

Federal carriage requirements for your exact boat, answered offline, with the CFR citation and the manual page behind every line.

$6.99 once One payment. Never a subscription.

Coming soon

Identify a vessel by the lights or day shape you can actually see, with the Rule number behind every answer.

$6.99 once One payment. Never a subscription.

What a US buoy or beacon is telling you, and which side to pass it, with the handbook paragraph attached.

$6.99 once One payment. Never a subscription.

Free tierReading the marks is free, now and always. No account, no signal needed.

The purchase opens practice and the regional variations. One payment, not a subscription.

42

Home Rule

Coming soon

Everyone who governs your address, on one screen: the districts, the offices, the names, and when each of them is next up for election.

$5.99/mo or $39.99/yr 14-day free trial, then the subscription. Cancel before it ends and nothing is charged.

Free tierLook up any address, free, as often as you like. The offices and the names are the free tier.

01

Flare

Coming soon

Symptom log for PCOS, endometriosis, fibromyalgia and autoimmune conditions. Finds co-occurrence across entries and prints a summary for the doctor.

$7.99/mo or $59.99/yr 14-day free trial, then the subscription. Cancel before it ends and nothing is charged.

Free tierLog freely for 30 days and keep logging after. One doctor summary, free.

Flare finds patterns across what you record. It does not diagnose, explain or treat anything, and it is not a medical device.

10

Books for One

Coming soon

A freelancer tax engine. Income, deductions, quarterly estimates, 1099 reconciliation. Nothing else.

$14.99/mo or $119.99/yr 14-day free trial, then the subscription. Cancel before it ends and nothing is charged.

Free tierTrack income and expenses for one quarter, free. The ledger is yours either way.

It never applies a tax rule to you. You enter your own annual target and it does the arithmetic.

31 tools

Coming soon: waiting on one piece

Built and running, with one named thing still missing. In most cases that missing thing is the part somebody would actually be relying on, which is why it is not for sale yet.

41

Conception Zodiac

Coming soon

The sign overhead at conception rather than at birth. A pure calculation, with no account, no database and no network call.

$2.99 once One payment. Never a subscription.

Free tierThe calculation is free. Every time.

The purchase saves charts and adds the full sidereal reading.

14

Through the Gate

Coming soon

Shows the structured record a resume parser actually keeps, and, more to the point, everything it threw away.

$19/mo 14-day free trial, then the subscription. Cancel before it ends and nothing is charged.

Free tierOne resume, parsed in full, free. You see the whole record before you decide anything.

Priced by the month because a job search ends. Most people need it for about three.

Free to trick-or-treat One payment. Never a subscription.

Free tierThe map is free for everyone walking the street. It always will be.

Targeted at Halloween 2027. The revenue is the organizer side, not the map.

02

Titrate

Coming soon

A GLP-1 companion. Side effects plotted against dose, protein targets, plateau interpretation, and when to stop reading a phone and call somebody.

$14.99/mo or $119.99/yr 14-day free trial, then the subscription. Cancel before it ends and nothing is charged.

Free tierLog doses and side effects free, indefinitely. The chart that puts them together is the paid part.

12

Doorstop

Coming soon

The one to six unit landlord's ledger, ending in a clean Schedule E.

$7.99/mo per unit 14-day free trial, then the subscription. Cancel before it ends and nothing is charged.

Free tierOne unit, one full year, free. Enough to see whether the Schedule E comes out right.

It never applies a tax rule. It checks rather than assumes.

29

Paper Trail

Coming soon

$6.99/mo or $54.99/yr 14-day free trial, then the subscription. Cancel before it ends and nothing is charged.

The paid tier is unlimited documents and the search across them.

$4.99/mo or $39.99/yr 14-day free trial, then the subscription. Cancel before it ends and nothing is charged.

Free tierOne animal, complete records, free forever.

Photo confirmation is not wired yet, and that is the part most people would be relying on. It is not being sold until it is.

07

Coming soon

The if-something-happens file, with staged release to named people on verified death.

$99 once, then $29/yr One payment. Never a subscription.

$11.99/mo 14-day free trial, then the subscription. Cancel before it ends and nothing is charged.
